Historical Significance: The upswept shape of this frame, often referred to as Cats-eyes, was fashionable throughout the world in the 1960s. Morez is a commune of the Jura department in Franche-Comte in eastern France. The town is mostly known for the manufacture of spectacles. From 1680 to 1920, Morez was with Morbier the centre of Comtoise clock production.
