Description Of Item: Lady's shell spectacle frame, crystal front, pearl coloured sides. Low set sides connected to front by bifurcated gold trim, saddle bridge. Brand name ELCE survives on right side (other details lost). Nominal 56/14. 132 x 70 mm. Contained in a brown mock-leather slip in case. Glazed with moderately high plus multifocal plastic lenses. Spectacles only in Museum Gallery.
