Historical Significance: This book is a new version of R A Weale's earlier book Ageing of the Eye published in 1962 by the same publisher. Robert Weale DSc is a well known British vision scientist presently Emeritus Professor of Visual Science, Age Concern Institute of Gerontology King's College London and formerly a researcher in the Institute of Ophthalmology London.
