Description Of Item: Men's combination spectacle frame, grey-brown shell trims, gold rims, adjustable pad bridge, hockey sides, right side marked 'Contura', left side marked 'Marwitz'. Back of rims marked 42, back of bridge marked 'Optima'. 127 x 40 mm. Frame is mounted on manufacturer's card bearing the information 'Marwitz, Contura, grafit, 42 x 36, 140, L77'.
Historical Significance: Hans Joachim Marwitz founded his eyewear company about 1970 and aimed to produce fashion frames for the young and middle years market.

Condition: Mint although card is soiled.
