The joining bridge is marked 'SET AT 60 mm'. A degree scale is engraved aroud the perimeter of each circular part. Historical Significance: This is presumably a gauge for checking the accuracy of scales on a trial frame. How Acquired: Donated by Pamela Sutton, honorary archivist.
