Description Of Item: Brass template shaped to insert in both cells of a trial frame, marked 'BISHOP HARMAN TRIAL FRAME GAUGE' on the right side and 'THEODORE HAMLIN LONDON W1' on the left side. The joining bridge is marked 'SET AT 60 mm'. A degree scale is engraved aroud the perimeter of each circular part.
Historical Significance: This is presumably a gauge for checking the accuracy of scales on a trial frame.
