Historical Significance: This is the 3rd edition of the classic optometry student text written by Dr Irvin Borish (1913-2012 ) OD (Northern Illinois College of Optometry 1934), LLD (Indiana University 1968) and acclaimed US optometric educator. This book is a classic encylopaedic text book on clinical optometry that was widely used, especially in the USA, and reflects the nature of optometric practice in the mid 20th C.
