Case has lens powers printed in gold letters on black shown in both dioptres and inches. Simple single cell half-eye trial frame with thin straight sides. Dimensions: L:21.3cm x W:15.0cm x H:4.5cm. Historical Significance: This case's early age (c1880) is indicated by the powers shown in inches and the lack of cylindrical lenses.
