In Italian. slipped in are 2 copies of a two fold leaflet briefly describing (in 5 lanuages including English) the Collezione ottiche e occhiali. Historical Significance: The Optics and Glasses Museum was established in 1991 to mark the 30th aniversary of the Luxottica Group. The museum is located in Agordo Italy and contains over 1200 items including spectacles, lornettes, telescopes, microscopes and many prints and art works related to optics. Luxoitica was founded in 1961 by Leonardo Del Vecchio in Agordo, Italy and now a very large vertically integrated maker of spectacle frames and retail outlets.
