Positive and negative powered lenses from 0.5 to 6.0 Dioptres in 0.5 Dioptre increments. Each lens aperture is 10mm diameter. Metal casing held together with 9 screws. Finished in red and black with white print: 'Rayner/ MADE IN ENGLAND'. 264 x 30mm. Historical Significance: The Rayner company was founded in London in 1910 by J B Reiner & C D Keeler. Since 1949 the company has been involved in the development and manufacture of intra-ocular lens implants.
