Description Of Item: Plastic ladies spectacles in apricot fade colour with low set temples and glass single vision lenses. Left temple has white print: 'NiGuRa AVANTEGARDE (star) 3030 KE 130' Bridge labelled '54(box)16'. Lens powers: R: +0.25/-0.50x70 L:+0.25/-0.50x110. Dimensions: 138 x 55mm.
Historical Significance: NiGuRa Optik was established in 1866 by Ernst Nitsche and August Gunther in Rathenow, becoming part of Rosenstock in 1981. In 2005 Rodenstock sold the NiGuRa frame subsidiary to Moulin International of Hong Kong.
