Description Of Item: Grey plastic moulded foldable vision therapy equipment designed to increase fusional reserves through step-by-step training. Complete equipment consists of a stand, 2 fold-out arms with scales, a bound book which includes 12 stereo targets (with instructions on where to position apertures along arm of instrument) and removable single and double apertures (both apertures missing from this item). Scale on arms give placement position of aperture for each target. Designed for home vision therapy with adjustable stand heights. 330 x 165 x 130 mm when folded.
Historical Significance: Bernard Vodnoy and his wife established the Bernell Corporation to produce a number of low cost binocular vision testing and vision training equipment that could be used in-office or for home based vision therapy.
