Description Of Item: A pair of silver cable-templed low vision aids with screwed-in bridge and nose-pads. 'CARL ZEISS, JENA -12 V-1.3' engraved onto the rims of the lens holders (eye-facing side). Between 'JENA' and '-12' is engraved the Carl Zeiss logo of the time; a rectangle whose top and bottom lines are rounded up, is bisected, and whose bottom corners are truncated. The black leather case is inscribed 'MADE FOR / CARL WERNER & CO. / MELBOURNE / MADE IN GERMANY' on the lid. A dark navy lining & hand-written note containing 'For / -12.0' (indiscernible) 'Magnification / 1.50'.
