Historical Significance: Henry Albert Foster was a member of the Australian Imperial Force and landed at Gallipoli on 25th April 1915. He lost an eye during battle on 5th May 1915 and was invalided out to Alexandria and later London where he was supplied with an artificial eye. See Cat. No. 4321 for his artificial eyes. Cat.
