Description Of Item: Black headband-mounted binocular indirect ophthalmoscope, with power supply transformer, 'porta power' belt mounted power supply and 'porta-charge' charging unit. Metal, plastic, glass and leather. BIO has 'allpupil' in white print on the light source and Keeler logo in white on head band. Porta power and transformer engraved 'A VINGRYS', BIO headband engraved 'AV'. BIO length: 340mm, width: 240mm, height: 120mm.
Historical Significance: This BIO was used by Prof Algis Vingrys of the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences, University of Melbourne, who specialises in clinical optometry and researching early vision loss with eye and brain disorders.
