Description Of Item: Three-ring binder containing 10 thick cardboard sheets with printing on both sides. Front cover missing, replaced with a blue plastic covered card, original brown back cover. 'Keeler 'A' Series Chart hand-written in red biro on front page. Keeler logo at bottom of pages, 'Copyright entered at Stationers Hall' on first few pages and 1956 printed on first 2. The first cards are designed to be used for patients with low vision (using the terms 'sub-normal' and 'the partially sighted). First 2 pages are reference cards relating VA measurements to magnification required. Pages 3-9 are Landolt C and Snellen letter charts reducing in size for use at 25 cm. The last 12 pages are vocational near vision charts for normal vision. Included are a standard test type page, an engineering blueprint, a visual discrimination test, a page from a telephone book, sheet music,playing cards, an attached piece of black cloth with white stitching of two different sizes, a type written extract from David Copperfield, a copy of newsprint and a sample of shorthand. 225 x 155 x 16 mm
