Description Of Item: Placido disc. Heavy card disc, 200 mm diameter, with looped black wire handle. Paper pasted on one side with concentric black and white rings. Central 13 mm aperture has a glass lens +4 D mounted in a black plastic rim. Length including handle 312 mm.
Historical Significance: The Placido disc is used to assess corneal regularity.
