Inside the front cover is a newspaper cutting advertising a number of positions available at QIT with a closing date for applications of 13th November 1967. Historical Significance: Queensland Institute of Technology resulted from the amalgamation of Brisbane Central Technical College and several other technical colleges in 1965. BCTC and the Queensland College of Optometry had cooperated in providing an optometry course in Queensland from 1949.
