Description Of Item: Two white envelopes 80 mm x 80 mm x10 mm imprinted with pink circular design and a small square in the bottom left corner containing the letters Hoya Lens and stylised spectacle frame in white. 65mm Minus Cylinder Series is printed in pink to the right of the square. One envelope is stamped +2.25-1.75 in red and +0.50 +1.75 3.3 in black the other +3.75 -0.25 in red and +3.50 +0.25 1.7 in black.
Historical Significance: Lenses were part of old stock kept at the ACO dispensing laboratory. Hoya Lens is a large Japanese manufacturer of lenses and optical equipment. It began manufacturing lenses in 1941.
