Description Of Item: Two clear plastic barrel type contact lens cases 55 mm x 31 mm diameter, with blue grey vented screw caps and hinged lens baskets on a central stem. Caps are embossed AMO and have three vent holes approx. 0.5 mm in diameter. A white lens basket has R moulded in its design, a blue grey lens basket has L moulded in its design. The clear barrel section has a moulded 'fill line' 25 mm from the base. Temporary storage Box A
Historical Significance: Cases of this type were included in Oxysept Starter Kits. The vent holes allowed oxygen produced in the neutralisation of hydrogen peroxide to escape through a flap valve in the cap.
