Seal has the letters 'NVRI' in the centre and the words 'National Vision Research Institute' around the perimeter of the seal. Historical Significance: This seal machine would have been bought in 1972 when the National Vision Research Institute of Australia was established as an autonomous subsidiary of the Victorian College of optometry.
