Description Of Item: Oval eye spectacles with fine steel rims. K-bridge & folding temples with small tear-drop terminals. Flat lenses: -2.00 DS R & L. The spectacles are protected in a 21st century case from Joyce Optometrists, Balwyn. Spectacles: 119 x 28 mm.
Historical Significance: The donation of these spectacles was accompanied by a printout of basic biographical details of the wearer of the spectacles, Eleanor 'Nell' Scott Hall (1860-1965), teacher, Tasmania.
