Description Of Item: Black folder 190 mm x 190 mm with the words 'How to Care for Your Hydrophilics' in white in English and French on the cover with an aperture 56 mm x 56 mm showing part of the illustration on the sleve inside which contains a 7 inch 33 rpm disc with dialogue describing the care of hydrophilic contact lenses using the Barnes-Hind PS hydrogen peroxide system. On one side ofthe reord English is spoken, on the other French.
Historical Significance: This is an early example of a contact lens solution manufacturer providing instructions for the use of its product. A summary of the contents of te recording have been included on a separate printed sheet. Other forms such as videos and DVDs were used for this later.
