Description Of Item: Steel bar labelled Safilo 170 mm x 11 mm x 5 mm with centimetre graduations 0 to 15 on the top edge and 40 to 90 on the lower edge. One fixed and one adjustable perspex attachments with cross hairs allow measurement of pupillary distance to be read off the lower scale at the left edge of the fluted adjustment slide. The back of the bar has the letters MIM enclosed in an oval, PATENT. B.I. 7264 A/67 - M.U. 5409 B/67 imprinted. Leather pouch is shaped to fit the handle and protect the perspex attachments.
