Description Of Item: Clear glass reservoir eye bath, machine blown. Almost spherical lower chamber on foot rim. Reservoir chamber connected by very narrow neck to the upper chamber which has a pointed oval opening. The eye rim has been machine finished. Size: 56 x 44 x 33 mm.
Historical Significance: This eye bath was found during a dig at the site of the old hospital on Stradbroke Island, Queensland. Ref: Eye Baths, George Sturrock, 2012, Millstream Books, p159
