Description Of Item: Foam lined black plastic case 264 mm x 188 mm x 72 mm with turnbuckle catch containing white plastic tonometer marked 'Medtronic Solan Tono-pen XL Applanation Tonometer with logo,and LED display, battery removal stylus, batteries, battery information leaflet, Ocu-Film tip covers (9) and 36 page spiral bound instruction manual. A copy of an internal ACO e-mail outlining the device is included. Instrument only in Museum Gallery display.

IOP is measured by a minute electronic strain gauge linked to a microchip.
