There was a variety of Light, Medium and Dark tints usually in Blue, Aqua, Green and Brown and Amber. Tints were available with or without a clear pupil zone and of varying diameters dependent on the patient's iris diameter. Lenses were tinted during manufacture and could be of almost any parameters. There was some restriction on the type of material. Polymacon 38% was one of the most suitable materials for tinting.Gelflex Laboratories is an independent contact lens manufacturer in Perth, Western Australia.
