Historical Significance: The donor is the son of Melbourne optometrist, Charles Wantrup, who practised optometry in Sydney Road Brunswick. The cinema advertising slide is in the name of H. Collin at 329 Sydney Road Brunswick. He may have started the practice and may have either sold it to Wantrup or the two worked in partnership. At one time the Brunswick practice was known as 'Collin Wantrup' H. (Hermann) Collin is the father of Professor Emeritus H. (Herman) Barry Collin AM.
