Description Of Item: Near vision test designed for use with a phoropter, metal box, black finish, 123 H x 46 W x 46 D mm, with side edges to hold card near point charts and two clips on one face for the same purpose. A 145 mm long post and fittings are designed to enable it to be affixed to 9 mm square rod (missing) attached to a phoropter. An old tag label is marked I 84, a reference to the Museum's old card catalogue, but that card is missing.
