Description Of Item: Cased self-illuminating ophthalmoscope and handle. Head is of Lister-Morton design. Black metal head has two wheels of lenses, primary wheel +12 to -18, supplementary wheel +0.50, +16, +10, +30, -30, -10 and a blue filter. Disc to rotate primary lens wheel is labelled with a silver disc with various sized red circles and marked 'RETINAL GRATICULE GAUGE'. Sliding rheostat power control knob. Head marked on rear 'HAMBLIN 1000-4166 MADE IN ENGLAND' and front carries THL logo. Black metal handle to house 2 D-Cell batteries. Base of handle engraved 'C.A.WRIGHT'. One spare globe in case. Fitted, hinged case lined with blue satin and velvet with gold imprint 'HAMBLIN/ LONDON W1'. Red Dymo label on end of case 'C.A.WRIGHT/ 20-7668'. Instrument 260 x 42 x 42mm. Case 207 x 52 x 91mm.
