Historical Significance: The Farnsworth Panel D 15 test was devised to categorise colour defectives into protan, deutan and tritan using the confusion loci of each of those types of colour defect. This set was manufactured by a group of employees of Coles and Garrard supervised by Judith Orenstein (Steward) in order to provide each of the company's branches with a Panel D 15 test. The boxes were made by Michael Sutton, husband of archivist Pamela Sutton. A few sets were available for purchase by non Coles and Garrard employees.
