Historical Significance: The Proview Eye Pressure monitor was produced by Bausch and Lomb as a means of patients measuring their intra-ocular pressure. The probe was applied to the closed eyelid and relied on the perception of a phosphene to indicate the point at which the pressure reading was to be taken. Patients often found this a difficult judgement. See also Cat No. 3674.
