Each card is marked 'Copyright (date) Soft-Lite Company Inc' and 'Printed in USA'. The dates are 1937, 1940 and 1944. The front cover is gold stamped 'DR FREDERICK J. WAGNER / OPTOMETRIST'. Embossed on the inside of the front cover are the words 'Soft-Lite Lenses' Historical Significance: Soft-Lite is a brand of pink tinted lenses first marketed by the Soft-Lite Lens Company, New York, in 1939. Bausch and Lomb made the lenses and also sold them.
