Historical Significance: This is the two volume version of the third edition of the classic optometry student text written by Dr Irvin Borish (1913- 2012) OD (Northern Illinois College of Optometry 1934), LLD (Indiana University 1968) and acclaimed US optometric educator. This book is a classic encyclopaedic text book on clinical optometry that was widely used, especially in the USA, and reflects the nature of optometric practice in the mid 20th C.
