Description Of Item: Flip-top spectacle case, 125 x 40 mm, made of timber covered by a veneer of tortoiseshell and lined internally with violet velvet. The top of the case and the bottom edge of the lid are lined with silver. There is a small vacant silver plaque on the top of the case. A metal press button operates a metal catch to open the hinged lid.

Condition: Very good except for the worn and partially lost velvet lining and small loss 2 x 15 mm) of the tortoiseshell veneer at the bottom of the case
