Gold short handled lorgnette

Description Of Item: Gold (?) short handled folding lorgnette, 90 x 30 mm when closed, with small facetted oval rims fitted with flat glass lenses R and L +3.50 D sph. The handle and the bridge is machine engraved with elaborate ornamentation. The bridge has a pivot that enables the lens without a handle to be folded and clipped behind the other lens. The handle has a ring at its end for attachment of cord or ribbon.
