Axis scales for each eye covering 185 degrees. Nose rest adjustable for both height and vertex distance by screw mechanisms, with a height scale. Adjustable eye separation with inch scale for interpupillary distance. Slide extending sides with curl ends. Back of right rim is stamped PAT NOV 6 94; back of left eye rim is stamped PAT JUNE 25 95 Historical Significance: This trial frame from the late 19th century is noteworthy for using inch scale for PD instead of the usual mm. It is the same trial frame as that at Cat. No. 911, which is stamped on the eye rims ; 'PAT NOV.6.94 & PAT JUNE 25. 95' as is the case with this example. However the Cat No. 911 example also has its sides stamped 'PAT. APR. 30.95.'
