Description Of Item: Two vials 40 mm high, diameter 22 mm, with re-sealable plastic caps each containing a transparently tinted soft contact lens. Vials labelled Tints 55, 8.9, 14.2, +0.25 and with a coloured portion indicating tint colour (cool aqua, Soft green). Lens material Filcon 1b, water content 55%, Expiry date 08/00
Historical Significance: Demonstration trial lenses were supplied to optometrists to allow patients to assess the effect of tints on appearance. Transparent tints of this type had little effect on dark coloured eyes.Aspect Vision Care was formed in 1991 by the merger of Aspect Contact Lenses and New Focus. Cooper vision acquired Aspect Vision Care in 1997.
