Description Of Item: Trial lens set (spherical lenses only) in a black lacquered wooden case, 325 x 145 x 65 mm H, the lid of which is hinged along a short side and is lined under the lid with deep brown velvet. The case is fitted to take 36 pairs of nickel-rimmed plus power trial lenses from 0.25 D to 20 D sph and 36 brass-rimmed negative power lenses from -0.25 D to - 20 D. Lens powers are marked on the trial lens handles and on white celluloid strips separating the compartments. There are no cylindrical lenses and no compartment for a trial frame.
