Description Of Item: Ovoid shaped projector attached to a cast iron base by a chromed tube. Body and base cream enamel. Chrome 'Rodavist' in cursive script attached to each side of the unit. Manual focus with a separate adjustment for test distances 3m to 6m. Adjustable for angle of projection Serial No. 11627 O Unit dimensions 320 x 370 x 165 mm
Historical Significance: Chart projectors were an alternative to internally illuminated charts or wall charts and allowed adjustment for shorter examination rooms and did not require a mirror for the shorter rooms.
