Each blister contains one 55% water, 45% ocufilcon D opaque tinted soft contact lens-Green (2), Blue (2), Grey (1) and Hazel (1)with expiry dates 7/2005 to 10/2006. The case contains one blue tinted and one green tinted lens. All lenses have a two colour dot matrix tint with the words TEST printed four times around the edge. Lens parameters 8.8/14.1/Plano Historical Significance: Ocular Sciences launched their opaque tinted soft contact lenses at Silmo in November 2002. Almost immediately Ciba Vision filed a patent infringement suit on behalf of their subsidiary Wesley-Jessen. In 1998 Ocular Sciences had announced a merger with Wesley-Jessen which was prevented when Ciba Vision unexpectedly bought Wesley-Jessen. Ocular Sciences was compensated for that purchase.Ocufilcon D was the material Ocular Sciences used for their daily wear,monthly replacement disposable contact lenses.
