Description Of Item: Three vials each 43 mm high and 22m diameter each containing one opaque tinted soft contact lens. Colours are Grey, Hazel and Blue. Lens material is 38% HEMA. Blue and Hazel lenses are labelled Sag I, Plano, Lens diameter 14.0 mm and expiry date 11/94 and 02/95. The grey lens is labelled Sag II -1.00 and expiry date 02/95.
Historical Significance: Optima Colours were a selection of opaque tints with a striated pattern and clear pupil as an alternative to the Wesley-Jessen Durasoft Tinted Lenses. Early lenses were supplied in vials, later ones in blister packs. Colour range: Blue, Grey, Hazel, Dark Green, Turquoise, Topaz, Aqua and Amethyst.
