Description Of Item: Sterling silver chatelaine spectacle case, 170 x 40 mm, with art nouveau repousse decoration and black velvet lining. The clip includes a pair of dragons and imps in its decoration. A cartouche on the front of the case bears engraved initials HS and the date 1900. Both the case and clip have hallmarks indicating the case was made in London by the firm of Cornelius Saunders and Francis Shepherd.
