Description Of Item: Clear moulded glass eye bath of heavy pedestal form with ridge at top of stem, No 51 Design. Marked on the base 'MADE IN ENGLAND' and 'W' in an octagon. 45mm W x 64mm H.
Historical Significance: Wood Bros introduced the heavy pedestal design No 51 in the 1920's. The Wood Bros Glass Company was established in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England in 1828.
