Opposite each picture is a page of informative text. At the end of the book are black and white photographs of Bausch and Lomb instruments and eye wear. Historical Significance: This is a brand promotion brochure for Bausch and Lomb, of a kind and style not uncommon in the mid 20th C. The significant figures depicted are Alhazen, Gallileo, Snell.
