One end of box shows lens parameters [2425(a) +1.50, Expiry date 2010/11, 2425(b) +2.00] Expry date 2010/12, the rear lists contents and lens composition including material 67% Lotrafilcon B and Dk=110
Historical Significance: O2 Optix was launched in USA in September 2004 as a monthly replacement silicon hydrogel contact lens, It had a lower oxygen transmission than the Night and Day lens which precluded it from overnight wear. It was renamed Air Optix in 2005-2006 due to branding problems in Europe where O2 was the name of a telephone company.
