Description Of Item: Heavy clear glass pedestal eye bath with facetted baluster stem and turned in bowl lip. Base impressed 'PAT. AUG. 14 1917 1236597. TRADE MARK 'JOHN BULL' REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.' W:42mm x H:68mm.
Historical Significance: The Canton Glass company was founded in 1883 in Canton, Ohio. After a fire in 1890 the firm moved to Marion, Indiana.
