Description Of Item: Three blister packs 64 x 42 x 5 mm with purple, black and white labels with the words ProComfort, soft contact lens, ProVision and Logo, and Contains one visibility tinted sterile hydrophilic contact lens (45% ocufilcon D, 55% water) in buffered 0.9% saline. Caution: Federal (U.S) Law prohibits dispensing without a prescription. Manufactured by Ocular Sciences Ltd. Southampton SO53 4ND, UK BL71(2) Peel here. A bar code, lens parameters, lot no. and expiry date of 2006/08 are also printed on the label. The three lenses would have been supplied in a cardboard box. See Cat. No. 2388. Historical Significance: ProComfort was a label exclusively used by ProVision Eyecare and supplied to members of ProVision. The lenses were marketed to other optometrists under the Biomedics Evolution label by Ocular Sciences Ltd. ProVision, originally known as Australia's Independent Optometrists (aio) is an organisation promoted by Optometrists Association Australia to support independent optometrists in all aspects of practice management and supplies.
