Description Of Item: Cardboard display box 290 x 210 x 70 mm with pre-cut top cover which folds as a backing to display up to 50 trial contact lens blisters. Picture shows young woman commencing to insert a contact lens with the wording What's your colour? Box contains 45 assorted Freshlook lenses, 7 labelled Lite Tint, 13 labelled Handling Tint, 22 labelled Handling tint UV, 2 labelled Colors (1 Misty Grey, 1 Sapphire Blue) and 1 labelled Color Enhancers (Green). The lenses are unlikely to be those originally supplied as expiry dates range from 11/98 to 11/01. The back panel lists the power range, base curve and colours available in Freshlook Colors, Freshlook Enhancers and Freshlook Clears. Box is marked Registered Trademark of Wesley-Jessen ?1998 Workhouse WJ 3968
Historical Significance: Freshlook Lite Tint lenses were launched by Wesley-Jessen in 1993 with a light green handling tint, Colors were the first disposable lenses to change the colour of dark eyes and used a dot matrix colour pattern and launched in 1994.
