Description Of Item: (1) Letter from the office of the honourable Paul J Keating dated 7 July 2014 in response to a letter from the Australian College of Optometry requesting donation of spectacles he wore while Prime Minister stating he longer possesses spectacles from his period in office as Prime Minister(2) Letter from the office of the honourable Julia Gillard dated 31 July 2014 in response to a letter from the Australian College of Optometry requesting donation of spectacles she wore while Prime Minister stating she will donate spectacles she first wore in 2013 when she obtains new spectacles(3) Letter from the office of the honourable Kevin Rudd dated 12 August 2014 in response to a letter from the Australian College of Optometry requesting donation of spectacles he wore while Prime Minister sent with a donation of the spectacles he wore when Prime Minister 2007 - 2010 enclosed in cream coloured personalised envelope, containing in addition to the letter a 'With compliments' slip and a visiting card for 'The Honourable Kevin Rudd 26th Prime Minister of Australia' on one side and the same in Chinese characters on the reverse and a signed coloured photograph of Kevin Rudd.(4) Letter from the office of former Prime Minister, The Honorable Julia Gillard, dated 4 Dec 2014 covering the donation of her spectacles worn while she was in office 24 June 2010 to 26 June 2012.
