Historical Significance: Glenn A Fry (1909-1996) was a prominent optometric researcher who was Dean of the Ohio State University Optometry College from 1935 to 1966 during which time he lead an important graduate school, the PhD graduates of which took leadership roles in a number of optometry schools and in vision research. The book describes a method of expressing the degree of blur of the retinal image and is one of 300 or so publications of Dr Fry.
